I'm... not really sure about jump canceling, either. I mean, I can do it, or at least according to challenge mode I can do it, but I couldn't say exactly what I did to do it. It's probably really obvious and I'm lulzy for not knowing.

Anything involving Nirvana just takes a lot of practice. A lot. Also, I found it very helpful to assign Nirvana to a different button, since it can be nearly impossible to work with D while doing some insanely long combo (or even a combo of medium length).
