I think people hate Carl because of losing to him online maybe its clap loop or something but unlike the rest of the bb cast he is pretty normal XD.

Carl's weird role in the story kind of annoys me. He just feels so unnecessary right now that whenever I see him, I know this part in the plot is just for an extra fight. And his own story is rather bland. Sure things kicked up with Relius, but they needed Relius to keep Carl from becoming too lost in the blazblue world.

However, his character himself is alright. He's got a great play style and his glasses let him talk to random stuff like mailboxes. That's neato!

Carl is the shota. So he is instantly awsome. Enough said. If you learn to play him he can easily be godlike. if not... oh well. i think people hate him for the right reasons though. He's hard to play as, he traps u in loops, and his story is depressing. those are good reasons to hate him. its waht we call in drama: love to hate. So little do haters know, they're flip side loves carl. if that makes any sense xD
