Alright folks, here we discuss the good and bad of the new Ragna. Between 22C\It's not over yet having the ever living shit buffed out of it, Dead Spike being negative on block and he having no mixups anymore, he at least looks like he will play like he always did; Low average damage, absurd high damage and good footsies.

Well, i could say something too

I really like that you can follow up 22C with stuff and judging by videos, Blood Scythe works as combo tool somewhat well. I'm looking forward to use some CP Ragna in the near future.

It seems to prorate well enough. Air version groundbounces and you can TK it off a 6A to continue the combo(Can probably do off 6C JC as well, but 6C has a weird timing for jump cancelling).



Ground version gives solid knockdown and can be used off 5D...Sounds like it's our new corner oki.

Yeah, 22C looks pretty good now that it slides\wallstick close enough to corner and can be cancelled into other specials. What I'm worried about is if they changed the proration values for it though. I'm worried if it still got 120% proration.

If i remember right, that means that you can't do that many IDs in one combo, right? I'm not sure is it good or not

It means we're limited to two IDs per combo, one of each version.


Edit: Turns out the SMP counts for both, so only one ID at all per combo.

So I have been talking to Dustloop folks lately and while some say Ragna is still 'solid', he is just no fun to use anymore. Now, this is coming from folks that only watched the game rather than play, but he is looking much like CSE Makoto to me where he is just lacking in options and simply doesn't looks fun to use.


Oh, and nobody is happy over 6B sucking even more now either. Blood Scythe(air) is combo filler only while ground version is a really slow pressure reset. I mean Jin's 6D slow. Can barely wait to get DPed out of it.

Traded places with CSE Jin lol. Blood Scythe seems suckish outside of combo filler and overall, his damage seems lower. Dayum Ragna.
