I can fix polls, but the forum will look ugly [opinions!]

I've figured a way to fix polls, and tested it out. It works! However... only on certain themes. Only on subsilver2 and prosilver.

Everyone on the forum can now switch between the current theme- "AcidTech", "ProSilver" and "SubSilver2". Poll voting works with ProSilver and SubSilver2, however both of them don't have the usual, custom theme that "AcidTech" does.

I've changed user settings so now in the User Control Panel, you can change the theme to whatever you please. If it is set to AcidTech, you cannot vote, if it is set to ProSilver or SubSilver2, you can vote.

The forum standard/default currently, and shall remain, AcidTech, but I can make it ProSilver or SubSilver2. I'd have to bug BlazBlueAdmin to try to create a new BlazBlue related theme around those two styles HOWEVER that may not be possible, I'm not sure yet.

What the exact issue is, is that AcidTech and some older forum styles contain a few lines of code where polls don't properly work with the forum style/layout. Sometimes editing one line of code fixes it, sometimes editing a few paragraphs is needed, and I'm not really sure if me, Chain or BlazBlueAdmin have the knowledge to do that. I'll PM BlazBlueAdmin about it and ask him if he can fix it up.

I'd rather leave it as it is if it means changing how the forum looks
but that's just me and I hate change sooo yea

i doubt many people would want the default theme changed for the sake of polls tbh, but obviously im just guessing

however, now that we can change the theme "sort of" easily, im Assuming that if we wanted to vote, we could change to one of the "working" themes, place our vote, and then switch back to Acid, and our vote would still sit there

so if people really wanted to vote in a poll, they could just temp change the theme and vote, then change back

sure bit of work for the sake of voting but 1. i doubt many people would want to perma use the other themes and 2. are poll REALLY that important anyway, unless it was a critical forum thing, most people seem to have adjusted to actually posting their "vote"

And Zorgen, i think Tako meant that when you want to vote, you change theme to "ProSilver" or "SubSilver2" in User Control Panel Section

To me it would be no problem to get adjusted to it permanently...Maybe.
And we just posted our "votes" because polls didn't work at that time, so all good, i guess.

I don't think so. Even if possible it'd be very complicated, liable to break, and I don't think me, Chain or BBAdmin have the knowledge to code something like that. xD

Go to user control panel>Board preferences>Change theme to "SubSilver2" or "ProSilver">Vote>Change theme back to "AcidTech">Profit
