He's probably just joking around, he can hardly expect people to not talk about what happens in the novel.

....even if no one every did explain what happens in phase shift 3.

This may be the final novel but rest assured fans it won't be the final piece of the extended universe.

A Blazblue anime is planned, if that's successful we might see an animated movie. And there is the ever controversial Remix Heart that might lead to seriousness or stay silly.
